Our Story
Metallica's All Within My Hands Foundation was established by the members of the band in 2017. The Foundation aims to assist and enrich the lives of members of the communities who have supported the band for years, as well as encourage participation from fans and friends. All funds raised by the Foundation are donated to a cross-section of national and local charities with every penny going directly to AWMH's charity partners.
The Foundation has focused on fighting hunger by supporting local food banks in each market the band performs in around the world and in areas impacted by natural disasters. In December of 2018, the Foundation announced the first step in its other main initiative, workforce education, by launching the "Metallica Scholars" program with ten Community Colleges in the United States, again supporting areas that have supported the band during their North American tour.
