Manchester Evening News: Metallica's Incredible Donation to Homeless Charity Funds Work for a Year

Metallica made a huge donation to a Manchester-based homeless charity before their sold-out gig at the Etihad Stadium. The heavy metal legends handed over an astonishing £40,000 to Northern Quarter-based Coffee4Craig. Charity boss Hendrix Lancaster said the cash is enough to fund their work for the next 12 months.
Metallica's charity foundation 'All Within My Hands' shared a picture of the band handing over the cheque to Coffee4Craig with the message: "Thank you to all the fans attending #MetInManchester tonight for joining @metallica in supporting @coffee4craig, as they support vulnerable people in their community."
