KTXS: West Texas College Students Benefit From Rock & Roll Band Metallica-funded Grant
SWEETWATER, Texas — Students at Sweetwater's Texas State Technical College received some help from a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band.
The All Within My Hands’ Metallica Scholars Initiative (MSI) is a nonprofit organization created by management and members of the band Metallica.
Several TSTC students were awarded MSI scholarships and some were even loaned toolboxes to lessen the burden of purchasing them for school.
