Forbes: A Few Ways Restaurants Are Helping Others, And How You Can Help.

On April 10, the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the National Restaurant Association, announced the Restaurant Employee Relief Fund had received an overwhelming 60,000 applications and would be unable to take more applications. However, they said they are “aggressively fundraising to raise money needed to assist additional individuals in the future.”
Meanwhile, here are a few organizations across the country who are rolling up their sleeves and helping restaurant staff, families in need and medical workers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Metallica (yes, that Metallica) is reaching out with four grants totaling $350,000 from their All Within My Hands foundation to organizations dedicated to assisting those hit hard by the worldwide pandemic.
