#MetallicaGivesBack Clisson: €40,000 Granted to Two Local Organizations

Metallica’s stop at Hellfest in Clisson gave us the opportunity to help out in the local community with the support of Hellfest France. We selected Banque Alimentaire de Loire-Atlantique and Les Restos du Cœur de Loire-Atlantique to receive our grants. With Metallica’s tour sponsor, Iveco Group, matching our donation, we know these vital organizations will provide critical resources and support to their communities.
Banque Alimentaire is the leading national food aid network with 111 locations, including overseas territories, and collects over 120,000 tons of products annually. This amounts to the equivalent of 241 million meals gathered from the food industry, farmers, retailers, and the general public, with support from the European Union and the State. Thanks to more than 7,700 volunteers and 618 employees, they assist nearly 2.4 million people facing food insecurity through 6,060 partner associations, Community Social Action Centers (CCAS), and social grocery stores. Pioneers in social support through food, particularly with their flagship program "Bons gestes & bonne assiette®" aimed at recreating social bonds and improving health, the Banques Alimentaires also develop innovative and locally impactful projects: food product transformation workshops, development of short and solidarity-based supply chains, mobile units, and social insertion workshops and projects. Banque Alimentaire de Loire-Atlantique is receiving €20,000 along with a matching donation from Iveco Group.
Les Restos du Cœur is a non-profit that distributes food packages and hot meals to those in need, focusing on unhoused and low-income members of the community. The organization collects food, money, and clothes to redistribute, striving to offer support with dignity. Utilizing its network of restaurants, Les Rstos ducCœur encourages social inclusion and takes action against poverty in all its forms. Les Restos du Cœur de Loire-Atlantique is receiving €20,000 along with a matching donation from Iveco Group.
