$20k Donated to Women’s Center & Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh

Metallica visited the City of Bridges to play PNC Park, home of the Pittsburgh Pirates, on August 14 and learned about the critical work being done at the Women’s Center & Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh. Inspired to lend a helping hand, we are honored to be able to donate $20,000.
The Women’s Center & Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh provides safety and shelter to those seeking refuge from domestic violence. Around $100 can provide a night of safety and basic needs in our Emergency Shelter, so a gift of $20,000 can provide 200 survivors of domestic violence with their first night of security.
