Ways to Give

No matter how you choose to give, please know how much we appreciate every single dollar we receive! In a time when so many people around the world are struggling, we know how much every gift means to both the donor and the recipient. Thank you for trusting us to be your charitable outlet.

  1. Whether you want to give once a month, once a week, quarterly, or twice a year, recurring gifts are the most sustainable way to support the work AWMH does.

  2. A single gift of any amount helps AWMH support communities in need.

  3. Does one area of our mission statement speak to you more than the others? When you make a donation to AWMH, you can specify whether you want your gift to go toward our general fund, the fight against hunger, the Metallica Scholars Initiative, or disaster relief.

  4. Whether you are making a recurring or one-time donation, you can dedicate your gift on the payment page in honor or memory of someone important to you.

  5. Take Advantage Of Corporate Matching

    Corporate matching gifts are a type of philanthropy in which companies financially match donations that their employees make to nonprofit organizations. Companies generally match donations at a 1:1 ratio, but some will match at a 2:1, 3:1, or even a 4:1 ratio, making your gift go twice as far or more!

    Does your employer match charitable donations? If so, all you need to do to double your impact is let your employer know the amount you've given, request a match, and tell them that your gift went to All Within My Hands (EIN: 81-4258668).

  6. Create Your Own Fundraiser

    Whether online or in person, the Metallica Family has humbled us with its enthusiastic support of AWMH through fundraisers. Many social platforms allow you to create your own fundraiser and designate the charity of your choice as the recipient. Should this be something that interests you, it's not only a good way to raise and donate money, but it also helps spread the word and educate new people about what AWMH does!

  7. Creating a donor-advised fund (DAF) allows you to set aside funds for future charitable donations and receive an immediate tax deduction. Donors can contribute to their fund as frequently as they like, and then recommend grants to their favorite charities whenever makes sense for them.

  8. Stock Transfer Donations

    Donating stock and mutual funds is a great way to support All Within My Hands. Donating securities not only helps us fulfill our mission but also offers valuable financial benefits.

    • You can donate appreciated stocks, bonds, or mutual funds.
    • The total value of the stock upon transfer is tax-deductible.
    • There is no obligation to pay any capital gains taxes on the appreciation.

As always, every penny of your donation goes to the organizations the Foundation supports. The Foundation’s expenses, which are very low to begin with, are all paid for by the band and the other members of its Board of Directors.
